Assistance and Coordination for the research for a major chapter on Modern Architecture in Gujarat by Miki Desai, under the guidance of Shri B V Doshi, undertaken for The State Gazetteers of Gujarat. This was a pioneering effort of reviewing architecture of Gujarat of the period from 1900 A.D. to 1985 A.D., with an aim to set some indicators of architectural styles, to decipher various influencing factors, to create certain awareness about building materials, workmanship and technology and to compare it in international context.
